Two Moons, Two Jobs
Both lamps start from the same playful idea: having the moon all to yourself. Seletti and Marcantonio have taken that thought in two directions.
The My Moon Lamp is a glowing moon that is both a seat and a lamp, for use indoors or out. It stands 151cm tall, so this is a piece of furniture and a sculpture as much as a light.
The My Tiny Moon Lamp is the opposite: tiny and shiny, a small table lamp for late-night reading or daydreams of space travel. It measures 37 x 11 x 33cm, has a 2m cable, and gives 800 lumens at 3000K.
In short, My Moon is about scale and drama; My Tiny Moon is about a soft glow close at hand.
Where My Moon Works Best
Because it works both indoors and outside, My Moon gives you plenty of options.
- In the garden. Set among planting or at the end of a lawn, it becomes a magical centrepiece once the sun goes down.
- On a terrace or by the pool. It doubles as an extra seat for guests and a glowing focal point for evenings outside.
- Indoors as a statement. In a living room, a large hallway or an open-plan space, it is a show-stopping piece that people will want to sit on.
Give it room to breathe. At 151cm tall it has real presence, so let it stand on its own rather than squeezing it between other furniture. A plain wall or a dark corner behind it will make the glow stand out even more.
Where My Tiny Moon Works Best
My Tiny Moon brings a soft, dreamy glow to small surfaces, and its compact size makes it easy to place.
- Bedside table. Its warm light is ideal for reading before sleep, and it looks charming even when switched off.
- Desk. It adds a touch of whimsy to a home office or study corner without taking up much room.
- Nursery shelf. A little moon on a shelf feels made for a child's room and adds a gentle glow to bedtime stories.
The 3000K light is on the warm side, which suits bedrooms and living spaces where you want a relaxed atmosphere rather than a bright, cool working light. To keep it looking its best, simply clean it with a soft cloth.
Choosing Between Them
Ask yourself a few simple questions:
- Indoors or out? If you want a moon in the garden or on a terrace, My Moon is the one.
- Statement or accent? My Moon is a showpiece that anchors a space; My Tiny Moon is a finishing touch.
- Do you need a seat? Only My Moon doubles as somewhere to sit.
- How much space do you have? A small bedroom, desk or shelf calls for My Tiny Moon.
There is no rule that says you have to choose. A large moon in the garden and a tiny one on the bedside table make a fun pairing that carries the same idea through the house.
Styling the Moon
Both lamps have strong personalities, so keep the surroundings simple. Deep blues, inky greys and dark greens make a lovely night-sky backdrop and let the glow shine.
