The dappled depths of an enchanting Woodland become the home of fantasy and folly; where light and shade play amongst the expansive canopy alongside creatures great and small, the hushed quiet offering a sanctuary from the rest of the world. The Cole & Son studio have taken this beguiling scene, weaving familiar woodland themes to create a rich tapestry design, large in scale and engrossing in detail, in archival tones of vivid Coral, contrasted with understated Olive & Charcoal.
Founded in 1875 by John Perry, Cole & Son’s wallpaper collections represent styles across the centuries and include some of the most historic wallpaper designs in the world.
Originally situated in a wallpaper mill in Islington, North London, today Cole & Son’s factory is in Haringey, just a few miles further north of the original site.
Cole & Son have provided wallpaper for countless historic houses and institutions including Buckingham Palace in London.
