Originally inspired by Japanese minimalism, the Distinct Side Table explores the creation of complex structures based on a single element. The minimalism of its construction creates a contrast to the richness of textures and colours and reminds of an abstract Neoplasticism, which accentuates the overall composition of the side table. The table is made of acrylic stone, enabling the radically different expressions of the plates while being a highly durable material.

The brand was conceived in Copenhagen in the home of Trinie with wallpaper, or rather, a lack of it… In 2005, Trinie had just moved into a house with her husband, and just couldn’t seem to find a wallpaper that fit our taste. She therefore decided to make her own, which resulted in ten different wallpaper designs.
After applying to exhibit them at a trade fair in Denmark Trinie couldn’t afford to manufacture all ten designs, so armed with just one wallpaper and a handful of printouts ferm LIVING was created.
