Taking its name from geometric, non-parallel, angled lines, Oblique is printed in two-tone colourings and criss-crossed with fine ribbons of soft gleaming metallic, creating a classically glamorous wallpaper. Colour palettes include soft greys with silver, cream on ivory with gold, bold black and white with gold, and teal on charcoal with bronze.
Founded in 1875 by John Perry, Cole & Son’s wallpaper collections represent styles across the centuries and include some of the most historic wallpaper designs in the world.
Originally situated in a wallpaper mill in Islington, North London, today Cole & Son’s factory is in Haringey, just a few miles further north of the original site.
Cole & Son have provided wallpaper for countless historic houses and institutions including Buckingham Palace in London.
