Inspired by the Japanese tradition of 'Kintsugi' which repairs broken pottery with hints of gold, this fruit plate has been crafted from porcelain and features flecks of 24-Carat with floral motifs and an asymmetric trim. Elegant yet unusual, it's sure to be a talking point at tea and every other occasion.
Contrary to western belief, in the east, when something is broken, mending it gives it even more beauty. Kintsukuroi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery, used here by the Italian maker Seletti to craft the Kintsugi bowl. It’s a Marcantonio design with cultural inspirations.
