Originally a block print, Florencecourt takes its name from the Florencecourt Yew, widely considered to be one of the original yew trees within the British Isles. Featuring dense foliage in shades of green, teal, grey and olive, this wallpaper has been given a contemporary feel through its combination of surface and flexographic print techniques.
Founded in 1875 by John Perry, Cole & Son’s wallpaper collections represent styles across the centuries and include some of the most historic wallpaper designs in the world.
Originally situated in a wallpaper mill in Islington, North London, today Cole & Son’s factory is in Haringey, just a few miles further north of the original site.
Cole & Son have provided wallpaper for countless historic houses and institutions including Buckingham Palace in London.
