Table Lamp White Earth - Serax

1 item left

In her play with shapes and proportions, Marie Michielssen this time went to work with the spherical shape. A deconstruction led to an atmospheric lamp in which the light source remains invisible. The paper mache version creates a poetic atmosphere and balances the object on the fine line between art and design. Created by Marie Michielssen for Serax. Earth Table Lamp has a particular primitive appearance, characterized by simplicity and minimalism. The unique and traditional character of the Earth collection is reflected in the prints, shapes and colours of these lamps, perfect for every room and corner of your house.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Designer Marie Michielssen has been an established member of the in-house design team at Serax for over 20 years. She has created countless designs inspired by and intended for everyday life. Her designs have a strong focus on functionality, but because she only works with materials that have ‘soul’, this is in no way at the expense of the aesthetic of her work as each and every one of her designs clearly shows. Marie designs two collections a year for Serax.
