About the Designers
Karen Mabon
Karen Mabon is a London-based designer and illustrator, known for her signature storytelling through print. After studying at the Royal College of Art, she launched her eponymous label in 2013, quickly becoming recognised for her intricate, narrative-driven silk scarves. Her work has since expanded into luxury apparel, accessories, and homeware.
Growing up in the Black Isle, Scotland, Karen was inspired by nature, vintage collectibles, and old Hollywood glamour. Her designs bring characters, creatures, and curiosities to life, making them instantly recognisable and utterly enchanting. She has collaborated with an eclectic range of brands, from museums and palaces to skincare, films, and even airports.
Doing Goods
Founded in 2010 by Aanyoung Yeh and Jan Swinkels, Doing Goods is a Netherlands-based brand known for its treasure trove of handcrafted homeware. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, they embrace the beauty of handmade imperfections, celebrating craftsmanship and the personal touch of each artisan.
